Action Trumps Words Every Time
The majority of people are trapped by inertia in a life that doesn’t reflect their highest ideals. They might think or daydream about the circumstances they would prefer, but they do little to create change.
Some folks will take their desire got happiness to the next level, so to speak, by talking openly about what they want or even writing down plans or goals. This is forward progress but it’s as far as most people ever make it.
Only a small percentage of people ever take action on the things they claim to want. It’s both bizarre and sad, but it’s also the truth.
I understand it’s not always easy to take action. But honestly at this point in my life I’m baffled by how rare genuine action takers are.
As an entrepreneur who hasn’t punched a timeclock since 2005 my life is pretty unconventional. If I want something in a real way I take steps to manifest this objective.
Interestingly, I’ve learned that sometimes I don’t even need to think much about my objective. And I certainly don’t need detailed plans on every occassion.
Because I’m in the habit of taking action I often find myself in spontaneous motion as soon as I identify what I’d like to experience. This is the inevitable result of living an action-oriented life.
Don’t mistake this as bragging. I’m only using my own experience to drive home the point.
The positive rewards we seek are the result of moving our feet. It’s far less important to have all the steps in the process outlined than it is to just start walking in the general direction of what we want.
Action, even on a small level, will ALWAYS trump all the thinking, planning, and talking in the world. It’s better (and more fun!) to be a walker than a talker in any endeavor.

Want Success? Be Decisive!
One of the simplest, most powerful tips I’ve ever received for creating success in any area of life is…
Be decisive. Trust my instincts and intuition and take action quickly and confidently.
It’s easy to get caught on the fence, especially for hard decisions. Many people who are “thinkers”, myself included, have a real tendency to agonize over every detail.
But we MUST trust ourselves and take swift action if we want success in life. This applies to business, personal development, romance, health, and even spiritual growth.
Practice feeling out your first impulse for a few minutes and then moving in that direction.
If warning bells start to go off you can always change course. In fact it’s normal to correct course regularly on any mission or path.
The most effective (and even the healthiest) method of operation is to choose and act quickly and to fine tune while in motion. Let go of the illusion that you must get everything right the first time and develop a “go and flow” approach, and you’ll find yourself both happier and much more effective in all aspects of your life.
Give this a shot and see if it helps!
